Braised Broccoli with Crab Meat and Roe

I was amazed by the softness of the broccolli and how well the taste of ocean from the crab meat has infused into the green.




Deep-fried Fresh Oysters with Garlic and Peppered Salt

酥蒜椒盐生蚝


Stir-fried Sliced Beef with Ginger Onions in Black Bean Sauce (京葱豉椒炒牛肉) was another star dish that we enjoyed.


My mother really liked the mezzanine [ 'indoor balcony' ]. Despite the bustling Marina Bay shortly before Christmas, Hai Tian Lo gives off a serene and stylish ambiance to family diners and over-mature kids [ or so my mother says ;] ] like me.
